What is it?
Coaching is about creating a personalised guide to understanding and working with your brain. It is not about fixing you or forcing you to fit into a mould but learning to navigate life in a way that feels natural and achievable.
Understanding why you feel different is one thing, but figuring out how to manage those differences is something else entirely. That’s where coaching comes in - providing you with the tools to harness your strengths, tackle challenges, and build practical strategies that work for your life. It bridges the gap between what you know you want to do and what you’re able to do, empowering you to thrive with actions that truly work for you.
How does it help?
Being neurodivergent means thinking differently - often creatively and innovatively - but living in a world designed for neurotypical brains can feel overwhelming and stifling. Coaching bridges this gap using the Executive Functioning Framework, focusing on key skills like time management, organisation, emotional regulation, and motivation.
Many of us tackle challenges in unconventional ways. When I studied for my Master’s degree, I could not engage with lectures - they were too slow, the lights gave me migraines, and they were socially exhausting. Instead, I did everything last minute and I achieved some of the highest marks in the class. But the cost was exhaustion, isolation, and a sense that I hadn’t truly earned my success.
That kind of problem-solving is a strength but can also lead to burnout. Below are the areas we can focus on in our sessions, to equip you with the tools to help you thrive on your terms.
Self-Awareness
We will identify your unique strengths and learn how to use them to your advantage, so days don’t feel like an uphill battle.
Motivation
Procrastination can be a big challenge. We will look at how your “Interest-based nervous system” works and how to focus.
Impulse Control
Impulsivity can bring creativity and spontaneity, but it can also create chaos. Coaching helps you manage impulsivity while keeping your creative spark alive.
Problem-Solving
Our brains are brilliant at thinking outside the box, but it is easy to get stuck in self-sabotaging mode. We will focus on breaking these cycles for good.
Memory
Remembering things is tricky, whether it’s tasks, appointments, or even where you left your keys! We will develop systems to support your memory and keep you organised.
Emotional Regulation
Strong emotions are tough to deal with, particularly RSD. We will work on recognising and managing these feelings, so they don’t derail your day.
By breaking down your goals into clear, actionable steps, ADHD coaching helps you create habits that stick and make meaningful progress.
You will leave with practical tools and strategies to navigate daily life with confidence, whether that’s at work, at home, or with your children.
If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start thriving, I would love to work with you. Together, we’ll figure out what works for your ADHD brain and create a roadmap for a life that feels fulfilling and manageable.
“ADHD is my superpower. Without it, I don’t think I would have made it to where I am today.”
